Over the years, I have lived in England, Thailand, and China. These diverse cultural experiences have added to my growth as an artist. Currently, I live in Houston, Texas with my husband Dan and our sweet, though mischievous dog, Susie. I enjoy hiking with my husband, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with my children and grandchildren. But my passion is working in my studio — it gives me joy and a place to reflect on the natural beauty around me and in my life.

I am a fused glass artist.
My journey to becoming a glass artist began first as a beaded jewelry crafter. To expand my skills as a jeweler, I took a course in glass jewelry-making in 2010. This initial class led to a passion for the art of glass in all colors, shapes, and sizes. I love the process of cutting from a sheet of glass, fuse firing the cut pieces, and molding them into works of art that can be functional or decorative.

Nature, my travels and life's experiences are my true inspiration. In addition, I have studied under some of the top national and international glass artists. Their knowledge, experience and teachings continue to inspire and influence me in my career as an artist.
